MEMBER SAFETY & SECURITY

Security and Safety are of paramount importance to Blaze Gym. All our clubs are monitored using CCTV in all areas, and remotely monitored via a system that has audio and visual access to the facility. Below is some important information that you should be aware of during unstaffed hours.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MEMBERS WHEN THE CLUB IS UNSTAFFED

State of Health

  1. Ensure you’re in Good Health and fit to train. This shouldn’t just be a tick in the box on the ‘Exercise Readiness Questionnaire’, your health and fitness is paramount to us.  If you have any conditions or illnesses that might be a risk, it’s best to get medical advice on how best to exercise.

    Exercise Correctly

  2. Have you watched and familiarised yourself with equipment usage? We have plenty of videos on how to use the equipment safely. If you need further help, then please reach out to the team

    Know your Club

  3. It’s very important you familiarize yourself with the Club layout. The safety stations including, defibrillators and First Aid Kits will always be located near the entrance of the Club. The PSD (Personal Safety Devices) are also located near the entrance of the Club, along with the Evacuation Map. Please ensure you’ve watched the Video taking you through the emergency and safety procedures.

    Train with a Friend

  4. Where possible, train with a friend who is also a Blaze Member. If this isn’t possible then keep other trusted members close to hand in case, you need some support / alternative.

    Ask for Help

  5. If you’re feeling unwell, injure yourself, or are concerned for your well-being, please ask for help! If anyone from our team isn’t on hand then use one of the Red Emergency help points located on each floor of the Club. We have a remote CCTV team in place who will be able to support you.
